You have worked hard, persevered, survived...eleven years of education. Now, you have made it to an important milestone in life, you are a SENIOR at last! Yes, you need a yearbook picture, yes, but you really need more....

One of the most important things you will do as a senior is to have a very special portrait taken of yourself. This will probably be one of the most important portraits that you will ever have taken, because it is the way that family, friends and classmates will remember you at this very special point in your life. Even after many years, you, and your friends will look at your yearbook ppicture and remember you from the way you look in your portrait.

This is not just any snapshot. This has to be the best possible portrait, a portrait that captures what is so special about you at this turning point in your life. Because this will be an image of you that people will look at for many years, it is worth it to spend the time and energy to make it a very special portrait.

Do you want to trust this very special portrait to just any photographer? Of course not! You want a portrait of yourself that captures the essence of who you are, and conveys that essence in a timeless manner through the years to come. Whatever success comes your way in life, you want people to look at your yearbook portrait and remember you in a very good way.

All of our Senior Portraits are taken by Walt or Lynn Kendall, the studio owners. That way, you can be sure of top quality photography.

We treat every high school senior as a unique individual. We take the time to listen to your ideas. Portrait sessions are in a fun atmosphere without a rush. B&W photography is included as well as color at no extra charge. Of course, your year book picture is part of the package. You are also encouraged to bring friends, family, pets, personal items, sports equipment, musical instruments or any other items that are meaningful and reflect your interests. We strive to incorporate these special things into your portrait.

You can choose to have outdoor portraits as well as studio portraits. We will go to local parks, other outdoor locations, or even your own home, anyplace - the choice is up to you. (Out of studio portraits incur a small additional fee. Please see our pricing information.)

When is the best time for you to schedule your photo session? Obviously, when it is most convenient for you. Yet, every year we see Seniors rushing to beat the yearbook picture deadline... and not getting the best possible portraits of themselves because everyone is in such a hurry. The best time to schedule your portrait session is during the summer, between your junior and senior years. The worst time is to wait until October, or later! We even offer a 10% discount for those who schedule their Senior Portrait sessions for before June 1st.

Many high school seniors especially appreciate the fact that we can use their Senior Portrat on very distinctive graduation announcements. Your portrait personalizes your announcement, and you get to choose the way that you would like to have your announcements worded. Please ask us about graduation announcements/invitations.

Our studio is in our home, which means that you don't have to pay for our overhead.

Discounts? Of course we have discounts! Our most popular discount is the “Bring a Friend” discount. If you and one or more of your friends book a Senior Portrait sitting together, we will give you, and your friends, each, a $25.00 discount.

Another popular discount is available for Seniors who order graduation announcements at the time that they place their portrait order (or within two weeks of receiving their proofs). You will get a $25.00 discount off the cost of your graduation announcements.

We also offer a 10% earlybird special. Schedule your Senior Portrait session for a date between March 1st and May 31st, and we will take 10% off of your package price. (Does not apply to the Yearbook Basic Package.)

Do you get to keep your proofs? Any time you order one of our nicely priced Senior Portrait Packages you get to keep all of your proofs at no additional charge.
